The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been making waves with its latest installment, Avengers: Age of Ultron. As the world waits in anticipation for the next chapter, fans are excited to know that some of their favorite characters will return in the upcoming sequel, Captain America: Civil War.

According to recent reports, Elizabeth Olsen, who played Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in Age of Ultron, has confirmed that she will indeed be part of the onscreen Civil War storyline. Speaking at the Meet the Filmmakers event at London's Apple Store, Olsen revealed that she is now allowed to discuss her involvement in the film.

Civil War, as scripted by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, shall be based on the Marvel comic book limited series by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven. The film will bring together some of the most iconic characters from the MCU, including Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.

Newcomer T'Challa/Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, will also make his debut in the film. Boseman's character is set to appear ahead of his solo movie, Black Panther, which is scheduled for release in 2018. Daniel Brühl, known for his roles in Rush and Inglourious Basterds, will play a currently under-wraps character rumored to be a villain.

The upcoming film promises to deliver an epic battle between the Avengers as they face off against each other due to disagreements over government oversight of their activities. The movie is expected to be action-packed with plenty of twists and turns, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
